dc.description.abstractThis study focused on the articles of two refereed journals of the Faculty of Arts University of Jaffna. A total of 336 articles, authored by 156 authors during the period 1976 – 2005 were analyzed. This study examined the bibliometric characteristics of the articles, such as year -wise distribution, authorship pattern, keywords of titles, language, productive departments, and authors. Findings encourage the academic community to publish more research articles in the journals published by the Faculty of Arts University of Jaffna.en_US
